Levi said that he and 10 students of Colgate University studied 45 pictures of glaciers on the surface of Mars. These photos were taken by NASA's Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter.

Researchers found that the difference in sizes of the stones was not regular, so the size was not that much for them. They were more interested in forming or gathering their groups. In the glacier of Mars, stones flow inside them, not outside, these stones did not wear out. But the stones appeared in rings of different sizes. With these rings, the researchers got indications of a different drift of every ice age.
